MINUTES OF THE MEETING

The minutes of the meeting held on 21st March 2005 were read and signed as correct.

MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES

Playground

Peter Musk removed dead woods. The quote for the Oak tree and Cyprus is £485. It was agreed to proceed with the works.

A Saftey Visit & Report is now due to be done since the relocation of the playground will not be taking place.

Rumballs Hump

Mr Robb removed trees and flattened the land from the south in the adjoining field. EHDC attended and immediately issued Tree Preservation Order and a Stop Notice for the land works. However most of the trees had been removed before the order could be served.

Mr Robb now has an agent who is dealing with all the planning matters, he still has to comply to the originally planning but it is unclear whether he can apply for another planning permission. Mention of Article 4 was made but Alison Young of EHDC does not seem to think it will be necessary. A strong letter from Tim Robinson to Alison Young concerning the handling of the situation was sent – she wrote back quite offended as if everything is fine.

The mobile home is still to be lowered but some talk of just changing the home for a different colour i.e. brown had been made. We are now waiting the outcome of the notices and reinstatement of trees etc.
